HISTORY OF THIS BLOG

I first unofficially started this blog in 2012 as a blog for Lalaloopsy dolls. It wasn't popular and nobody read it, and I only did about 2 posts. Then, in 2014, I was about to post on my personal blog about an American Girl petition that I started, when I noticed my Lalaloopsy blog. I then changed the domain and title to americangirldollplay.wordpress.com, because I didn't like Lalaloopsy dolls anymore and liked American Girl dolls. Originally, I wanted to make a photostory blog like my favorite blogs at the time, Dolly Dorm Diaries and Miss Molly and Friends, but I found a trademark for Girl of the Year 2015 and posted it. I soon forgot about the blog for a couple of months because of school, but then when the summer started I was shocked to find out that my post was getting 100 views per day. I decided to continue with being a leak blog and my audience grew and grew. Then, in December 2015, I got my domain name americangirldollnews.com as a Christmas present!
