Here's a little bit about the story of Caroline Abbott, the Doll of the Month for September 2022!
In 1812 Sackets Harbor, New York, Caroline loves sailing with her father and wants to be the captain of her own ship one day. Her life changes when the war of 1812 breaks out and her father is taken prisoner by the British. At first, she just steps up to help run her father's shipyard in his absence, but when she finds a opportunity to rescue him, Caroline rises up to the challenge, using her mind and heart to guide her decisions.
Caroline is one of my only two dolls! I got her for my 11th birthday this year and she came with her accessories, purple outfit, white dress outfit, and cinnamon-red dress with a sunbonnet and she came with a book. She is my favorite doll out of all dolls, so this is SOOO cool. Go Caroline!!!!!!
