Yesterday on the blog, I teased an investigation to try to find the release date for Girl of the Year 2024, Lila Monetti. And it actually ... only took 2 minutes to find a good, plausible theory!

The Sapphire Splendor Holiday Collector doll released to the general public on the morning of September 23, 2021.
If Lila is going to release on a Thursday, like most AG releases are - then if this theory holds, Lila should be releasing on September 21, 2023.
I can't wait to see what they look like, their name sounds beautiful, I don't think they will use blonde since they have the 90s twins, but maybe red!?

Wow. September? I understand November or December, but September? That doesn't really make Lila a GOTY! I know Lindsey was released in September, but she was the first GOTY, and AG probably had no idea when release her. But now since it's more of a flow of January 1st and late December, I personally am shocked.
