Price increases have been noticed on American Girl's website. WellieWishers are now $75, AG Sisters are now $85, and outfits have increased in price as well. Luckily, AG dolls are not currently affected.

A new name was trademarked recently for American Girl: Dylan Gold! There is speculation that she will be 2028’s Girl of the Year - we’ll have to wait and see, but my inklings are feeling that way! I’m a little sad this means that we’re most likely not getting a new Historical for the foreseeable future, but am excited to learn more about Dylan!

Hey guys! Sorry for the silence on here this week. I’ve been in Nashville for a 3-day concert by my favorite band, The Protomen, and yesterday, I gave a custom doll to the female singer in the band, Gambler Kirkdouglas! She grew up with American Girl and had a Molly growing up, so she LOVED the custom doll I made her. She posted her on Instagram too! Yesterday marked six years since my hour long American Girl stopmotion, Rebelle, came out! I just wanted to come on here and say thank you to the AG community for being the first ones to embrace the story of my heart. I'm working on what will hopefully be the penultimate draft of the book that it inspired right now, and I have some pretty good news in my back pocket for a real movie, so fingers crossed! But yeah. American Girl released 2 new Moana-inspired items today to tie-in with next month's release of the Moana live action movie - her Wayfinder Outfit (which retails for $65) and a 10'5 inch doll of Simea, Moana's 3 year old little sister (also for $65).
