So I have been going through my collection, I have 3 beds for Rebecca, 2 beds for Samantha, Addy's PC Bed, Josefina's green bed, Elizabeth's and Felicity's, but then I go on the website and realize most of the Beforevers/Historicals don't have the beds or the cute little nighttime lamps (or candles), Stuffed toys, books, etc. all the little things you need to make a nice doll bedroom.
Does anyone have any other sources for little accessories and knickknacks for the older Historical Dolls (not Courtney) besides eBay where I have to pay an arm and a leg for some accessories.
I'm trying to put together my doll house, I got my "modern" side done, but my Felicity to Kit side seems to be missing a bunch of furniture and finishing touches that make it look like each room is a show piece.
Question:
Since Melody had a bed and accessories, and so does Courtney, do you think AG will bring them out again for Samantha, Addy, Josefina, Kit etc. Their collections are looking very very bare and neglected. Or do you think they are prepping for retirement?
(just FYI, adult Collector so I have been collecting for a while, not trying to brag or show off)
i think kit and josaphina will be retired soon, but i feel like there gonna forget about addy, and give samantha a new dress
I sadly think that most off those dolls are on their way out. I believe at least a few of them are cubed.
Those are cubed dolls, so they are not going to do much with them, other than plan to retire them, backorder, plan to retire, backorder and so on. Im saving up to buy Addy, Samantha, and Kit currently.
This is very sad. The collections for some of them, are nothing. And we need more bedroom stuff.
Mercari is like eBay, but I've found dolls and even doll beds for under $55
