Hi
ok so what’s Your Favorite Ag book illustration?!?? (if any) it can be from any Ag book ever!!
i have so many favorites!! but I’m not a big fan of Marie grace and Cecile’s illustrations.. But here are just a few
you can really feel the silence in this one. Also how is it so vibrant can they tell me which paint they used? lol

honestly every single kit illustration is my favorite

addys illustrations are beautiful!! I really love this one like look at the light coming from the window Onto miss Dunns dress!! it’s magnificent ✨

I This part of Kirsten’s meet book really made me cry 😭

I have a ton more favorites!!! But I’d love to know which illustrations y’all love!! ok bye
My favorite illustration is from “Changes for Rebecca“. I really like how the artist captures motion in this scene, as well as how realistic they made the water look.
So far the only illustrations I haven’t cared for were the cecile/ Marie grace ones. I like that the styles of most of them give you the feel of the era That the books are in.
I remember the Caroline books as boring, but I have to give huge credit to whomever did the illustrations. They are very clean (like complete, not fuzzy), and oh my goodness. THE DETAIL and HOW VIVID they are. The lighting is a bit funny, but it makes you focus on the subjects. Love!
Also, great minds think alike! I don't enjoy the Marie-Grace and Cecile ones, either. Don't get me wrong--I love Cecile. But the paintings look flat, characters clustered or far apart, and the floors slanted. It's a bit medieval-style.
I love the Felicity ones. They are obviously paintings, they don't look like photos, they are clearly of people from the 1700s, yet still seem a bit messy and unfinished, in a good way... so they give me the slightest impressionist feel. Like this one--it's not my favorite, but it should give you an idea of what I mean.
