So... I was looking up any sized dolls between 14.5 inch dolls and 18 inch (I don't know why) and I found out something that blew my mind.
THERE WAS SOME OTHER LINE!!!!!!!! A lot of you probably know about it, but I am still in shock!!!!!
Okay, so Hopscotch Hill Dolls are 16 inch dolls from American Girl. I think that they were available from 2003- 2005. They were obviously not very popular since everyone that I've told had no idea.
Do you guys have any? Or have you ever heard of them?
I have heard of them, but I don't like them that much. But it is interesting to look back on some older, less popular doll lines.
Actually, now that I see them, no offense- their faces are kinda funny looking
Wwwwwwoooooaaaahhhhh. Pre-WellieWishers, huh.
@animalgirl I can relate. I have been using American Girl wiki, and I found out about Hopscotch Hill a few months ago, and other collections like Girls of Many Lands. They are a bit creepy looking, and like you said, too realistic. But it was very interesting to find out about them!
I was on an American girl encyclopedia (http://www.agplaythings.com/Hopscotch/HopscotchHill.html) and I saw those dolls. Their faces are a bit too realistic, so I'm guessing that's why they didn't sell well. Check out the website: Thanks to it, now I know about many collections Ag had!
