Ok. you don't know very much about me. My name is Juliana Anne Anderson. Yeah, a lot of An’s . This is my first year at school. I’ve been homeschooled all my life up to now. I thought I would never make friends. All the awful ‘jokes’ that people make. I knew it was called bullying but I didn't know it that bad! It is though. I feel like I’m always in a car. Sometimes it smooth. But sometimes it bumpy. Thats when I met Courtney. Courtney knew just how to make me laugh. I could talk to her. But even she didn't know the deepest things about me. no one did. I like to keep to myself. The thing is my father died in a war. And when my brother started talking about joining the army it made me even more scared. I know I ain't the only kid who lost a parent. But that don't make the hurt any less worse.

Courtney came up to me at school this morning. She asked me to join her war. But I told you how my dad died and so I was skeptical. But it was a war of pranks so what could happen? Right? RIGHT?? Anyway I joined her war and she wanted me to help her with a prank cause she not gonna surrender. I’ll tell you that much. Courtney said she was gonna talk to Blaire in her Irish accent (which was terrible, by the way). I told her that wasn’t a prank, that it was just plain annoying, but she didn’t care. “Golly, gee, do you want to come to my Irish jig lessons today, dearie?”

She for sure didn’t know how to speak Irish.

“This is stupid. I‘m gonna make a prank for you. A good one”

Courtney smiled. Like, a big, huge smile. And that made my heart go kabloosh. That is a word. Because making other people happy always made me happy. Yes, sometimes it feels like the car’s about to crash. But then, it just, doesn’t. And that makes the whole ride worth while.
