I am fine with the doll and the story. But there are 3 things I don't like about Kavi. I wish she wasn't these 3 things...😪
She has a very light skin tone. She should have had a darker skin tone.
She is a copy. Compare Kavi Sharma to Truly Me #117. There is only a few small changes. Corinne has a truly me that is very simmilar looking, but that doll was realleased after. I feel that the GOTY's should all be unique and be the focus. As someone who purcheshed 117 before Kavi released. I am sad. I wish maybe 117 wasn't realeased, so people like me could be more into her. I am sad that I bassically have a doll that looks like Kavi. At least make Kavi unique.
Kavi's collection is bassicaly Tenney Grant's and Marisol Luna's collections combined. I feel like Kavi is a little recycled in terms of her collection....
anyway these are just my opinions as someone who has truly me #117
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, and I respect yours. Diversity in doll representation is important, and I hope future releases bring more unique perspectives for all collectors to enjoy. Furniture Assembly Services in Edmonton AB
I don't like most of Kavi's collection. Call me old fashioned, but warmups and athletic clothes just look sloppy to me (in general), and it seems like she just has outfit after outfit that is just workout clothes. Her bollywood dress is beautiful. I don't like the prints that they chose for her regular clothes either. Just not my style. I don't like her backstage stuff or the trunk- it looks cheap plasticy. I don't care for the dance outfit that comes with the trunk - but for those who don't have lots of space for accessories and do want to purchase the outfits it's a shame that it doesn't come separately. Oh well.
