If you have Lea(like me) and you have trouble dealing with her curls,here's what you can do to get her curls back:
Mist her hair with water,brush it with an American Girl brush gently,then use a pencil to curl up her hair,then take it down and keep doing that until it gets the way you want it to be -you can also finger curl her hair. After that just kind of play around with it.
