A few months ago, AG changed the Truly Me dolls from 8+ to 6+.
Because of money.
They're still selling the dolls for 100 something dollars, but because a 6-year old can't handle a high quality doll, they lowered the quality.
So they're selling dolls whose fingers bend for a $110.
And parents are also going to buy dolls for their 6 year old children too, so AG is making even MORE money.
I miss when AG didn't make it obvious all they cared about was money.

Your theory is interesting! But honestly, it’s likely just a marketing move to appeal to a wider audience—similar to how apps like Tele latino expand content variety to attract more users.
