The American Girl stores are now having field trips to other places! These field trips have been around for a long time, but I haven't discovered them until now. All of the field trips require a emergency contact release form. Here's a list of the field trips happening at each American Girl store through November. I hope this helps you a lot!
The American Girl store in Alpharetta, Georgia is going to have a field trip to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Center on September 4, 2016 at 8:30 am and October 9, 2016 at 8:30 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $50 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Martin Luther King Center, the trip will also include transportation to and back from the center, a discussion about Melody's first book, "No Ordinary Sound", a Melody-themed craft, a 60's-themed hairdo for the dolls attending, a goody bag, and a meal at the American Girl Bistro.
The American Girl store in Dallas, Texas is going to have a field trip to the Globe Life Park in Arlington, Texas to watch a Texas Rangers baseball game on September 18, 2016 at 12:15 pm for children 8 and older. The trip costs $75 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Globe Life Park, the trip will also include tickets to the game, transportation to and back from the stadium, and a meal at the ballpark.
The American Girl store in Kansas City, Kansas is going to have a field trip to the Kauffman Stadium to watch a Kansas City Royals baseball game on September 18, 2016 at 10:30 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $52 with reservations required. In addition to visiting the Kauffman Stadium, the trip will also include a sports-themed hairdo for all of the dolls attending, a goody bag, bus transportation to and back from the stadium, an American Girl movie on the bus ride and a meet-and-greet with Star Wars characters.
The American Girl store in Nashville, Tennessee is going to have a field trip to the Tennessee Performing Arts Center to see a ballet performance of Cinderella on September 18, 2016 at 9:45 am for children 8 and older. The trip costs $78 with reservations required. In addition to watching the Cinderella ballet, the trip will also include brunch at the American Girl Bistro, transportation to and back from the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, a backstage V.I.P meet and greet with the ballerinas, shopping time at the American Girl store and a craft.
The American Girl store in New York City, New York is going to have a field trip to the Gerswhin Theater to see Wicked on Broadway on August 17, 2016 at 1:30 pm for children 8 and older. The trip costs $155 with reservations required. In addition to watching Wicked, the trip will also include escorts to the American Girl store, shopping time, a goody bag and dinner at the American Girl Café.
