Nanea's store events have been put up for the weekend of August 25! This confirms the August 21 or 24 release date.

This is the description for the Friday and Sunday events:

"Celebrate the debut of a girl whose aloha spirit runs deep—Nanea Mitchell! This event will introduce girls to Nanea’s world in 1941 Hawaii, with a fun free craft, a doll drawstring bag giveaway (while supplies last), and a chance to win a Nanea doll of their own! To add to the fun, come dressed up in your best Hawaiian-themed outfit."

This is the description for the Saturday event:

"Celebrate the debut of a girl whose aloha spirit runs deep—Nanea Mitchell! This event will introduce girls to Nanea’s world in 1941 Hawaii, with hula troupes performing the authentic Hawaiian dance, a fun free craft, and a yummy island-inspired treat. Girls will even get a doll drawstring bag giveaway and a chance to win a Nanea doll of their own! To add to the fun, come dressed up in your best Hawaiian-themed outfit. Treat and giveaway are available while supplies last."

MY ANSWER: I found out about AG when I was 2, when my sister got a doll (a #16 named Ivy) for her sixth birthday. That Christmas, I got my first dolls- a set of Bitty Twins that I named Sophie and Issac. I lost them when I moved to North Carolina, but I got my first 18 inch doll, Julie, in Christmas of 2009.
