American Girl Luciana STEM Activities!
Today, American Girl in partnership with Scholastic launched Blast off to Discovery, a site filled with Luciana-inspired STEM and language arts activities for teachers and parents with kids in grades 3 to 5!
On the site, there are four lesson plans for STEM and ELA activities inspired by Luciana. They are fun and educational activities!
Lesson 1 is a science lesson, Building A Comet Model.
Lesson 2 is a math lesson, Jumping on Other Planets.
Lesson 3 is a language arts lesson, Robots and Space.
Lesson 4 is a engineering lesson, Launching a Rocket Model.
There is also a fun "Space IQ" game that can be played in teams, with friends or alone. In the game, Luciana quizzes you on space facts, and every correct answer gets you a robot part. The first one to build a complete robot dog wins!
There is also two at home activities: Design a Planet and Make A Galaxy Pinwheel.

When I look at American Girl Luciana's STEM activities, I love how they make science fun with hands-on experiments like coding and robotics. It reminds me of good ecommerce web design in Sharjah both need to be engaging, easy to use, and built to keep people interested. For me, Luciana is a great example of how to spark curiosity in kids, just like a smart website design turns browsers into buyers.
