American Girl History Lesson: AG Minis

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

I'm still sick, but that didn't stop me from going headfirst into the world of AG Minis for you guys!

American Girl Minis (also known as AG Minis) were first released on October 19, 2000. The line consisted of miniature boxes known as Illuma-Rooms that were $48 (later $52) each. The boxes were electrified so it could light up. You could buy many pieces for your Illuma-Room in different themes, including Blue, Purple, Horse Stable, Rooftop Patio, Cabana and the rarest, Lil's Diner. Complete rooms were pricey- running $72 to $178 each. The line was discontinued in 2003 due to the high cost of manufacturing and common defects.

What should I do after Angelina Ballerina, which is next- American Girl video games or American Girl partnerships with different companies (like Hallmark and McDonald's)?
