Welcome to a new blog feature- Rumor Mill Thursday! Here, I will explore American Girl rumors and try to get to the bottom of them. Today's feature: a little trademark that showed its self on Trademarkia recently...

If you can't see the image, American Girl recently trademarked Blaire Wilson in dolls, doll clothing and doll accessories. If you know American Girl well, then you'd know that when a first and last name is trademarked- something's ought to happen!

The name Blaire was ranked #944 in 2016, so a modern character with her name is very likely. It was also common in the 1980s, but I believe that she may be Girl of the Year 2019 due to the timing of the trademark.

Remember, this is just a rumor, and even though my guesses have been accurate in the past, don't trust me! (Remember when we thought that Tenney Grant was going to be the 2017 Girl of the Year from December 2015 all the way to October 2016? When I found out the truth, I vowed to only make that one mistake.)
