American Girl just trademarked the name Estelle.

Usually, first names are trademarked first. If American Girl trademarks a name with a last name within 6 months of the first name being trademarked, she's most likely going to be released. If no last name is trademarked, there's a lower chance of her being released. (A major exception being Gabriela.)
Based on my online research, Estelle is a English/French name, so chances are she'll be white. Then again, the name Gabriela has it's roots in Spain and Chile, but Gabriela ended up being African-American, so there is a slight possibility Estelle might be of color. The same research showed that the name Estelle was popular in the late 1800s to early 1900s, with the name taking a tumble in the 1920s. Estelle started showing up again in 2012, but nowhere as popular as it's late 1800s-early 1900s popularity. My guess is the 1890's, because that's where Estelle was most popular, but Estelle being a Contemporary Character or GOTY 2019 is also likely. BeForever is most likely the direction Estelle will go, though.
