Sale entry times
Ticket Entry Groups will be assigned by lottery and announced by May 24
The initial entry group assignment will NOT include your exact entry time. This is a new sale location and many things have changed so we aren't ready to predict how many people we can admit/check out every 15 minutes. Instead, your entry group will have an entry group letter (A–G) and a sub-group number (1–4). A-1 group enters first, followed by A-2, and so on...
Example: Aviva buys a Saturday General Entry ticket and is assigned the entry group B-2. She knows will enter the sale after Kelley who has an A-4 ticket, but before Lucas who has a B-3 ticket, or Moira who has an E-1 ticket.
By June 15 we will release an estimate of what time each entry group is expected to be able to enter the sale. (Before then, you can take a pretty good guess based on your entry group letter, A–G). We will also post live updates on the day of the sale on our social media pages. More information on that will be announced by June 15 as well.
Ticket format
All AGBS tickets will be electronic e-tickets, distributed by email. No physical/paper tickets will be mailed. At your entry time, you will show your e-ticket barcode on your phone or you may print your ticket at home and show that printed barcode. We will scan the barcodes.
All tickets are non-refundable; transfers may be made via the MyAGBS website.
If you buy a ticket and discover you cannot attend, you may donate your ticket back to AGBS or you may transfer your ticket to another person via our online MyAGBS ticket exchange system.
All ticket transfers must be completed by June 16. Tickets will thereafter be frozen in MyAGBS to their owners.
You may only sell unwanted tickets for the same price that you originally paid for them, as per our longstanding policy. No scalping. All purchase arrangements between shoppers are made at your own risk.
Official barcoded e-tickets will be emailed on June 20. These will be the barcodes you must show for entry to the sale.
TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. You cannot get a refund on your ticket if you cannot attend, nor due to limited/sold-out inventory, nor for any other reason.
Important notes!
Tickets are limited! Demand for tickets this year is high, and we expect tickets to sell out quickly. We may or may not be able to release additional tickets after May 10 or on the day of the sale.
As in previous years we will not release a list of items which will be in the sale and cannot answer questions about the availability of individual items. We will release an initial estimate of the limits on 18" dolls before tickets go on sale.
Don't wait until Sunday to shop. We're pricing items to sell on Saturday. Sunday used to feature markdowns in prior years, but this year is different: we expect little to no discounting. The Sunday inventory may be VERY limited and many items, including dolls, may sell out before all Sunday tickets are used.
P.S: If anyone is going to the sale and would like to send pictures to be featured on AGDN of the sale, please email sydney@americangirldollnews.com!
Anyone else not able to see the post?
I'm so sad that I can't go. Last year was the first time I got to shop the benefit sale and it was really fun. I wish it was still online so people who live far away could participate too.
