AG Sisters and WellieWishers Comparison

Now that I’m home from college for winter break, I decided to take some photos comparing the bodies of the WellieWishers and AG Sisters. I have Jozette (my only AG Sister as of now), Emerson (older body type, from 2017) and Gwynn (2022).

First, they can fit into eachother’s clothes!

The most notable difference is that Jozette has painted on underwear, while Gwynn and Emerson have removable underwear. All 3 dolls have a similar body type, though the markings are different. Jozette’s body is more similar to Gwynn’s than Emerson’s.

I also noticed that Jozette has a smaller American Girl marking on the back of her body than Gwynn does, and when they stand up with no shoes, Jozette stands a bit taller than Gwynn.

Here’s my comparison photos (content warning - the dolls don’t have clothes on for the purposes of showing their body markings)

Speaking of new things, I couldn't find a 2026 AG calendar but I just found an AG calendar on Amazon for 2027 sold by Mattel and I am so happy that it has Felicity on the cover, along with the other OG historicals in their original meet outfits! Just wanted to share that.

Thank you for the comparison! I have Jozette but I do not have any WellieWishers. I was wondering if anyone knows if their limbs move the same way or different? I noticed Jozette's arms only go forward or backwards, whereas the standard AG dolls' arms can move all sorts of directions. I was wondering how the WellieWishers' arms move?
