American Girl has addressed the fate of the Create Your Own program in a Q&A on their website:
"To ensure the best for our customers, we've paused doll customization services. We're working closely with our partners to find solutions and resume Create Your Own services as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and continued support."

I didn't know that the CYO dolls were paused. No wonder they're reselling for boatloads now. :(
its definitely the tariffs then since theyre all made in china. wow being in a trade war is so great! everybody say thanks trump! (this is bad)
It sounds like maybe they are adjusting the Create your own line. Maybe there will be new outfits.
