American Girl settled with Lucianne Walkowicz, an astronomer who sued American Girl thinking the brand copied their image for the Luciana Vega doll. The terms of the settlement are unknown, but Lucianne originally wanted American Girl to stop selling Luciana and money. Luciana is still for sale, and nothing has been reported about American Girl paying them money.

Well that was a bit of a wild ride...
I am glad that it has been settled and the outcome was what I think most of us were hopping for. I do agree that it might be time to retire her, seeing as she has been the girl of the year for a while now
