As a Grammy I was happy to immediately purchase the Blaire Wilson doll when she first came out. What inspired me was my adult daughter - collected everything for her Samantha doll years ago - and the year the Blaire doll was available was the same year my daughter Blaire got married and became Blaire Wilson! Excited to gift her to my granddaughter - who was the flower girl for her Auntie Blaire's wedding - when she became Blaire Wilson. I saw this and I was soooooo sad!
This is the worst day ever for me I never got to purchase her and now she’ll be a bunch of money and I can’t afford that. I wish they’d let us know in advance.

#stopblairehate I like Blaire. Here’s the thing. She doesn’t deserve the hate. I know, she does nothing for diversity. But maybe she’s an Irish immigrant? If we knew that, would we pour Hate on her? No. But because her background isnt defined, we assume she’s a white farm doll. Who has No purpose. Isn’t that pretty bad, to just assume?
