When you buy Claudie's new Winter Coat, you will get a bit of her Christmas Story that wasn't included in her 2 books that take place during the summer! If you want to read the story, it seems like the only option is to buy the coat.
Maybe American Girl will release her Christmas story separately soon!
I may have some helpful information. I was looking on Amazon for Claudie books and products, and I found a book title not yet available that was one of the stepping into reading or whatever those books for younger readers are called. It was about Claudie and Christmas. That’s all I could find out. So we will see!!
i wonder if it'll be a third book... or a holiday story collection with the scrapped stories from the abridged books! :o
That was exactly my theory too! If there is a Christmas book, when do you it might release? Maybe all the historicals are going to have their Christmas stories released individually. Rebecca, Samantha, Maryellen and Julie's abridged books do not contain their respective holiday stories. So maybe they are releasing them separately. Let's hope that this is a sign!
@Admin Thank you for this information. I recently purchased Claudie's travel outfit so read her second book. I had been reluctant to read the book knowing the challenges she would face. The book is a marvel for dealing with the issues in a way that tells the truth without terrifying a child. Claudie has become my favorite doll. I look forward to buying her coat and hope that there is another book coming.
