Someone in an AG Facebook page I follow called American Girl about something in Maryellen’s collection. She has 17 items left on the American Girl website and the lady she talked to said that they were phasing her out and she would be retired oct 1. They tend to retire a doll when they introduce a new one, I think, but whether it’s true or not, maybe Sydney can find out?

I just heard that Maryellen’s collection will be retired Oct 1. I’m not sure if it’s true, but I guess it makes sense if she looks so much like Courtney.
if it’s true I feel like it would be for both her and her step sister (if she has one) because we know she has stepfamily listed for themes in her book. And if there’s a bunk bed that could mean she gets her step sister as a best friend doll. I know they retired the best friends line a while ago but perhaps they’ll bring it back.
Do these dolls usually sell out fast when they are released just don’t want to get my little one excited about it if I’m not going to be able to get one!
