Just yesterday, I reported that there were only 200 Evettes left on American Girl's site, and today, there are 0. Evette Peeters has officially sold out online and in stores.

wow she's retired! makena is the last one standing.... :/
Not related, but I saw news that what used to be the AG store in Boston is going to become a two-floor mini golf place in February after 4 years of vacancy! I had noticed that some kind of construction was going on earlier this year, but I saw an article today about the mini golf place taking over.
I think Evette is one of the prettiest American Girl dolls. I bought all three of the World by Us dolls and when Evette went on sale I bought her again. I thought her collection was really nice but I guess it didn’t sell well so AG retired it. I am guessing that Evette’s hair isn’t easy for young children to manage. I am an adult doll collector and I just love her hair.
I ordered Evette and Makena for the promotion a couple weeks ago. AG told me they haven’t shipped yet because they are trying to catch up with all the orders due to the sale.
Evette has officially retired. I knew she would retire in a short while but I didn’t expect to be too soon. This leaves only Makena. I wonder when she will retire. I think eventually all three World By Us dolls will be retired.
