From an unlikely source - a local newspaper in Ohio - American Girl potentially hinted at the return of Felicity.
According to a local newspaper in Ohio, a fifth grader (who AGDN will keep anonymous, as the article mentioned personal information about her) was disappointed to find out that Felicity had been retired, and wrote to American Girl asking if they'd ever consider bringing her back.
Surprisingly, American Girl responded - telling the fifth grader that if enough people wrote to American Girl with the same wish, they would consider potentially bringing Felicity back.
The rest of the article is a sweet story, detailing how in American Girl fashion, the fifth grader collected 300 signatures to send to American Girl to bring back Felicity. But American Girl's reply caught my eye because normally, when a doll retires, American Girl doesn't really respond to requests to bring them back. But seeing as American Girl is open to the return of Felicity - who knows! It could happen!
I had Felicity growing up and spent several vacations at Colonial Williamsburg and Busch gardens! My 3 year old has red hair, and my youngest blond. I cant help but think of Felicity and Elizabeth! I would love for Felicity to be brought back!

I have the 35th anniversary one that I gave to my mom, as she has red hair :) I hope AG brings her back because there's only one doll that I know of for red heads if it's not sold out, and that's just a truly me or making your own which is sad. Also why i have held on to Blaire.
I hope that AG DOES re-release Felicity. I didn't have the chance to purchase her in her original Meet dress a few years back, so this would be a great opportunity, along with getting her first book or journal.
god i hope not. kid's literally a slaveowner. didn't her beforever rerelease flop? i think if theyre bringing her back, its for the non-collector adults who're vibing with ag's new "nostalgia" era, but those adults arent really buying for the dolls so i feel like she'd flop again. hmm.
