The books that come with Kirsten, Addy, and Josefina are numbered! Hopefully that means we'll get the outfits that correspond with the other books later in the year!

I do have to admit I’m disappointed Claudie especially didn’t get anything new, but I’m hopeful like many of you that the revamp is not done, and we still have things to look forward to, even if it is next year.

They should also do the same for Caroline, Marie-Grace, and Cecile, and all the Best Friend characters!

So happy for all of you that are buying Kirsten, Julie’s stuff, whatever you’re buying, I really hope you enjoy it so much. Ironically, I own every doll and every outfit that was rereleased, except for Julie and her stuff, which I don’t plan to ever buy (not enough room in my house).

I really like Julie’s school outfit! Did she ever have a school outfit before? I’m going to AGP Chicago on May 10th with my cousins AND we are going to the cafe!

Julie’s first school outfit was very groundbreaking when she was first released in 2007! Since her meet story and school story deal with Title IX and how that allowed girls equal opportunity to play the same sports boys were playing, even on the same team, in some cases, her school outfit was a basketball uniform, something no other historical American Girl had ever had until that point. It was a really cool way to show the importance of basketball in Julie’s life and stories, but, sadly, it meant collectors didn’t get a more traditional outfit, like this adorable one that just came out!!!
