I know I don't live near Houston, but I still feel sad about the store closing, and the San Francisco one as well :(
Maybe I am just stating the obvious but if the stores were profitable they would not be closing them. But I think that does not factor in the fact that the store experience also increases sales. Of course, I have no data to prove that other than I prefer going to the AG store for lunch/dinner, events and for most of my AG purchases. I have many girlfriends who do (did) the same.
I'm still extremely sad that my local store closed. We were at the Charlotte store about 4 weeks ago and we will be going to the Orlando store soon. I plan to but some more Kavi Sharma things! This pic is my setup at home! - Annie
It's so sad to see the stores close. I have never been to either location because they are no where even close to me. But I get very sad everytime I hear an American Girl store is closing. 😭 And I feel really sad for all the people who don't have a store by them anymore 😪 😔
