American Girl Houston Closing February 13

American Girl has confirmed that their store in Houston, Texas is closing on February 13. The store opened in 2012, so it is not 10 year lease issues that are closing the store like what happened to Miami, but rather a transformation of the Memorial City Mall it lies within, which will demolish the enclosed mall it is currently and transform it into an open-air center. Seeing as American Girl Houston is not a flagship store, it wasn't in AG's budget to redo the store, so they decided to close it.



I've never been to the Houston store, but I do have a online friend who lives in Houston, so I'm honestly really sad for her.
