American Girl just released the first episode of Isabel and Nicki's animated series on YouTube!
It's pretty accurate to the journals so far in terms of the storyline, except that Isabel and Nicki don't get Buffy and Blossom until the last night of Hanukkah (which was December 11) and Isabel doesn't get into tennis until later in the story. I really enjoyed it! What did you guys think?

This was good! Just a little cringey, but that's expected when making shows for a younger audience.
Is the episode only about 5 minutes? I've never watched one of these before.
I noticed that all of the side characters were identical to the journals, except for Isabel’s tennis friend Olivia… who had lighter skin and straight hair 🫤
