American Girl Little Golden Books and Step Into Reading Updates

American Girl's partnership with Penguin Random House and their Little Golden Books and Step Into Reading programs is expanding, with more books slated to publish in 2022.

The Little Golden Book 'Making a Difference', which is supposed to release in January, now has a cover:

Another Little Golden Book, entitled 'Time for School', is releasing on May 3, 2022. It is written by Lauren Diaz Morgan, who wrote 'Happy Holidays' for American Girl's Little Golden Book series.

"Go to school with Courtney™, Kirsten™, Addy™, and other American Girl® characters in this all-new Little Golden Book.Whether celebrating a first day of school, graduation, or the school days in between, this Little Golden Book makes a timeless gift for children ages 2 to 5 and collectors of all ages.

This Little Golden Book stars Samantha™, Felicity™, Rebecca™, and other favorite American Girl characters as they learn school lessons in their own exciting times. It features full-color illustrations and a diverse group of spirited characters from a variety of historical settings that are always engaging."

Lastly, a Step into Reading book featuring Kaya entitled 'Kaya Rides to the Rescue' is releasing the same day as 'Time for School'. It is written by Emma Carlson Berne, who wrote 'The Lady's Slipper: A Melody Mystery', 'The Ghost Wind Stallion: A Kaya Mystery', and Kaya and Josefina's BeForerver journey books.

"American Girl® Kaya™ and her horse go on an adventure in this Step 3 Step into Reading leveled reader that takes place in pre-colonial America—and includes a bonus pull-out poster!

Kaya is a Nez Perce girl who takes pride in helping out and supporting the tribe—and also in her beloved horse, Steps High. But when she chooses racing her horse over family responsibilities, Kaya has to prove herself to earn her tribe’s respect. Kaya’s story of adventure in the wilderness is sure to engage today’s readers as they learn what it was like to be a Native American girl in 1764 in this Step 3 Step into Reading leveled reader. Great for American Girl fans ages 5 to 8, this storybook includes a pull-out poster! This exciting Step into Reading is based on an American Girl story by Janet Shaw."

I would be interested in picking one of these books up one day to see how the AG stories translate to picture books! Do you have any of these books?

P.S: I found this out while working on my screenplay. Total tonal whiplash listening to songs about overthrowing the government and then being forced to change the music because it feels weird to listen to that stuff while blogging about wholesome Little Golden Books.

Hello. Excellent book. Yes, sometimes there can be problems with the translation. But I think you can try using one of the online translation services. This will greatly help users from other countries to also get acquainted with this book. For example, I used this technique many times to translate pashto to english for one of my online projects. With the help of machine translation, an excellent result is obtained.

awful bold of you to assume that songs about overthrowing the government aren't stuff every ag character would listen to

Replying to

especially cuz there’s a lot of death in my screenplay (I’m reworking Rebelle and every AGDN reader knows what that means)
