American Girl Mentioned On Trivia Shows

Due to actors and screenwriters striking for better pay (I know the nuances of this too well since I'm a filmmaker, but this isn't a film blog, so I'll shut up), there has been an uptick in unscripted reality and game shows on TV this summer. So coincidentally, not one, but two shows have mentioned American Girl - "Generation Gap" on ABC asked a question featuring four doll names where the answer was American Girl, while "Weakest Link" had a contestant who mentioned being an American Girl fan as a child. While Barbie is clearly the "doll of the summer" in pop culture thanks to her new movie, I am thrilled to see AG getting some love from unexpected sources!
