Just a warning to all of the American Girl fans with Celiac disease: American Girl packing peanuts from online orders may contain wheat. AG has been notified of this, but I just wanted to let all of you guys know that! If you want to order packages from American Girl without packing peanuts, call them and ask for no packing peanuts.

Recycling and waste management help keep cities clean and safe. Sorting trash at home reduces landfill load and saves raw materials. Businesses now focus on smart collection, reuse, and clean processing. In the middle of this effort, AWA Refiners supports better handling of metal waste through recovery and reuse. Clear rules, simple bins, and public awareness make habits easier. Communities gain cleaner streets, lower pollution, and new jobs. Small daily actions add up, turning waste into resources and protecting the environment for future generations through education, teamwork, and local effort.
I have Celiac so thanks for posting this! I got so sick when I got Gabriella so now it's good to know why I did. I'm glad there are so many biodegradable options now but it sucks because almost all of them are made from wheat and don't have any warnings. I've gotten sick from some straws and plates because some of those are made of wheat now too, so I'm thankful I know to avoid packing peanuts as well. But AG should definitely put a warning label.
btw the packing peanuts are biodegradable. put them in the sink and pour hot water on them and they dissolve. it's kinda cool to watch. i didn't know they might have wheat in them but you can dump them out of the box without touching them. I had saved them once to reuse at my old house before I knew I could dissolve them and mice nibbled on them 😱
packing peanuts are annoying. I try my best to get all in the trash with one attempt, because I have a dog and 2 cats in the house. Did not think about allergy in humans either. Thank you for the post. :)
Thanks for the heads-up. I have a severe wheat allergy to anything wheat and that includes by touch. I am NOT Celiac, this is confirmed through DNA and antigen tests, but I am confirmed in a different DNA group that is also allergic to gluten. Celiac is only one subset of gluten allergies/intolerances, but has gotten almost all the attention. In many ways, I am even more sensitive than Celiac. So thanks again for the heads up.
