American Girl has retired Truly Me 56 and 63. Both dolls are available via back links, but aren’t available in the new Sparkle and Shine Outfit. Once they’re gone, they’re gone for good.

Yes, sadly. 3 dolls were retired for 3 TMs. Winter release retired 2 TMs for 86 and 88. No one was retired directly for 87, but I think you get the point @Nimble Kitten
@Crafty squirrel, But American girl.com don't need to retire more dolls to just make more dolls, surely?
