The Sonali mold has been updated. Here’s a picture of a Melody doll at the store with the new Sonali mold, plus a side-by-side with my Melody, who has the older Sonali mold.

Anyways, I still think the sonali mold looks cute. It one if my fave face molds and I love it.
Hey Sydney! Could you maybe post a picture of the 67s at the AGP? I love 67, but if she looks like the ones in the stock pictures...I’m not so sure. (Even though no dolls actually look like their stock pics.)
I couldn't see it before, but now that I've seen the difference, I can't UNSEE it. New Sonali face mold is on left, old Sonali face mold on right. To me, the "updated" one has eyes that look a little rounder and maybe closer together and like she's surprised or staring. The mouth looks different too, like it's not as wide, and the bottom lip doesn't look as full, it's more rounded like the classic mold bottom lip. The cheeks look puffier to me as well. It almost looks like a different face mold! I definitely prefer the old face mold. Why would they change it?
it's hard to see the shape, because she is in the box, and i honestly think it doesn't look too different from the original, but i still feel like i prefer the older mold
I have noticed that some of the Sonali mold dolls have looked different recently. Especially 67. At least the changes aren’t huge (in my opinion) and it’s still a super cute face mold!
