I want to be a film director when I grow up, but working for American Girl sounds fun. I choose the Doll of the Week based on the order dolls were released (McKenna was released right after Cecile and Marie-Grace, for example). I didn’t have permission from American Girl, I started it when I was 9, so I didn’t think to ask.
