American Girl Stores CLOSED FOR TWO WEEKS?

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

All American Girl stores are going to be closed until March 27 due to the coronavirus. American Girl sent this out a few minutes ago:

"To our American Girl community, There is no higher priority than the health and well-being of our employees, customers and their families. With the growing concerns about the spread of the COVID-19 virus, we are temporarily closing all of our American Girl retail stores in the U.S., effective Monday, March 16. Like you, we know family, friends, and community come first, and the ways we care for each other today will show our true strength of character. We’re continuing to monitor the situation and currently plan to reopen our stores on Friday, March 27, and we appreciate your continued understanding and support. Until then, we welcome you to visit our digital flagship, americangirl.com and stay connected with us and your American Girl social community here. Stay healthy and support each other, Your American Girl Family"

2 weeks isn't bad since all schools in MA, VT, NH, RI, CT, and possibly Maine are ordered to close for 3 weeks which might extend longer and college kids have to do the rest of our entire semester online. store closures are the least of our problems in New England. If the American Girl Store in the Boston area hadn't already gone out of buisness the MA Governor would have shut them down for a while anyway.

Henny Penny, the sky is falling! Henny Penny the sky is falling! Oh! How many times have we been through this? Doll lovers, settle down, don't panic and trust that this "too shall pass" Just enjoy the dolls that you have and trust that all will be well again!!
