American Girl Truly Me Retirements

Quite a few Truly Me dolls have retired recently. Because of the number of dolls that got retired, I was confused on if they truly did, but since the American Girl Wiki confirmed the retirements, I figured I'd go ahead and post them!

These dolls are now retired:

  • Just Like You 33 (released 2009)

  • Just Like You 53 (released 2011)

  • Just Like You 55 (released 2011)

  • Just Like You 57 (released 2011)

  • Just Like You 58 (released 2012)

  • Just Like You 65 (released 2016)

I LOVE some of these dolls, I feel like they've retired all the most iconic ones!! I really hope we get new truly me's that will replace them, that don't have rainbow hair.

For real -- she was the one doll that nearly resembled me (dark brown hair, hazel eyes, light skin), and now with her gone, I don't think there's any substitutes for her. It upsets me a lot that people won't have the chance to buy her now.
