To celebrate American Girl's 40th anniversary, AG just revealed the Girl of the Year 2027's book and storyline, Daisy Davenport! While the actual doll won't release until September, we have a peek at her cover, as well as her storyline.

Daisy is the star of her soccer team and rarely sits still unless it’s to play guitar. According to press releases, Callie gets injured and can't come to camp, leaving Daisy alone.
The suggestions from this name generator feel more natural than many other naming tools I’ve tested. A few of them were actually worth keeping.
Im going to guess she's possibly related to molly seeing as she's attending the same camp she did

This sounds funny, but I like that we actually have someone her age afraid of the dark. Typically, they feel guilty about it, going, "I'm too old for this! This is 2-year-olds' problem! I'm too big!" but it's real, and it can be overcome. ❤️
