I wish they didn’t use the Kaya mold. Edit: I tried it out, and now I REALLY wish they had just added new stuff without making it so that the ‘girls’ can’t have certain things.

So excited! I’ve been wanting a red headed boy with freckles for ages. I’m disappointed that there is only one close mouthed face mold, but fortunately I like it. I’m finally going to get my boy.

I Just went back and looked. The red hair option is only available with the side part hair cut, and not the high top hair cut. Bummer! I wanted the side part, so not an issue for me.

This is going to sound extreme, but if you really want a girl with the Kaya mold, you can get one with the boy wig, remove it, and buy the wig you want on Etsy. I’ve been rewigging some of my dolls, and removing a wig is fairly easy. Most of it around the outside can be pried off with a spoon, and I use a steamer to loosen the glue on the rest. Watch a couple YouTube videos. There are some really nice, high quality wigs on Etsy. Pretty extreme to get the doll you want, especially when you‘re paying $220 for a custom doll, but it would work.
