Melody Ellison won the poll for the Doll of the Month for February 2023!

In 1963, Melody lives in Detroit, Michigan, with her 3 siblings, parents and grandparents.

Melody loves to sing and garden, but she is also growing up and learning about the inequality in 60's era society during the Civil Rights Movement, when people were trying to change the race segregation rules of the era. She is excited to sing her first church solo, but after the death of 4 Black girls in Alabama, Melody realizes that her voice is a powerful tool to make a difference, and ends up starting an effort to create a garden and playground for her community.

Melody was released in August 2016 after an early reveal in February 2016. She is still available.
