In 2006, Jess lives in Michigan with her parents and siblings, but goes to Belize for a few months with her parents in order for her archealogist parents to study ancient ruins. After a few days of homeschooling, Jess finally gets her chance to explore Belize with a new friend, Sarita. But what Jess ultimately discovers is something that she never expected when she first arrived in Belize...

Jess was released on December 26, 2005 and retired on December 31, 2006. She was the first Girl of the Year to be referred to as such, and was last first Girl of the Year until Blaire to release in December.
