Nanea is the Doll of the Week for this week!

Nanea was released in 2017. She has an unique face mold, black hair, medium skin, and hazel eyes. She came in an orange shirt and white shorts.
Nanea lives in Hawaii in 1941. Her story revolves around her learning how to practice 'kokua', or helping others and doing selfless deeds, when her world is shaken by the Pearl Harbor attack and the start of World War II.
Nanea is still available.
I have always wondered what Hawaiian girls thought of Kanani and Nanea and whether they seemed authentic. I lived in Hawaii at the time of Kanani’s release and some things about her felt a little off (things fixed or improved with Nanea). I’m not sure if that’s a common opinion because I’ve mostly only heard the opinions of Caucasian collectors, which makes me wonder how valid my thoughts are and how much of a right I have to actually voice my thoughts on these two. But I do love them, especially Nanea.
I love nanea!
yay!!! one of the prettiest historicals! ♥♥♥♥♥

Nanea is my favorite!! I love her story. She is an amazing girl! In April 2018 we went to Hawaii. I brought Nanea with me. We were in Oahu and Maui. These are pics from Maui in dresses I bought for her there.
