When Create Your Own first launched in 2017, a Create Your Own doll cost $200, which was a lot of money, but once inflation started hitting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the price went up to $225, which is out of reach for a lot of people. Now that tariff-related price increases are starting to occur, it could cost over $200 to make one Create Your Own custom doll, which could potentially lead them to cost well over $400 to be profitable.
