Feeling Better + GOTY 2025 Release Date + My Game Plan for Thursday

Hey all! Just wanted to tell you all that my hope to get better from my concussion before Summer's release has come true - I'm feeling mostly better now! It still will take a few days before I can go back to writing my novel, but I'm all good to blog!


During my short break, AG announced that Girl of the Year 2025, Summer McKinny, will release on Thursday, September 12, so I figured I'd share my game plan for how I'm going to cover her release, because this is the first GOTY release where I have school the same day.


The reveal will happen around 7:30 Nashville time, so like usual, I'll watch that before starting to post all the information I can find online about Summer. After that, I have class from 11 am Nashville time to 1:50 pm Nashville time, so I'll go to American Girl Nashville after that to pick up Summer, her pink jacket outfit, and her journal! I'll post in-person pictures after that, and then to finish the day, I'll read her journal and post her story and a review!


I can't wait for Thursday!
