Today, I learned an interesting fact about American Girl that I never had heard: there have been 160 million American Girl books sold, making American Girl one of the most successful book series of all time - number 16, to be exact!

Random House just released a collection of all the American Girl Little Golden Books and Step Into Reading books!

that's incredible!! and to think i own nearly 200 of those! the books are my favorite part of ag, so i'm glad they're successful! :D
you can also own hard copies for cheap at your local thrift book stores
You can read most of the American Girl books on Internet Archive. It’s free. You don’t need to pay for anything, but you will need to make an account with your email. You can also go to the virtual library on American Girl website.
If American Girl sees that their books has been sold successfully maybe they will realize that the books do matter very much to the company. That is fascinating news! I have always loved the books. I first became interested in American Girl through the books when I borrowed Meet Felicity from my school library. That was the first American Girl book I ever read followed by Happy Birthday Samantha!, Kirsten Saves the Day, and Meet Molly. I remember at my school book fair I saw Mia’s meet book.
I own four Samantha books, two Felicity books, two Rebecca books, three Molly books, one Kirsten book, two Kit books plus a collection of Kit’s stories, all six of the Marie-Grace and Cecile series ( which I brought just a day before they released in 2011 at books-a-Million), one Josefina book, two Kaya books, and one Chrissa…
