It looks Lila will be retired soon, since we are going to meet Raquel Reyes next month. I'm going to bet she will be retired at the end of the year. Lila was more popular than Summer, and I think Raquel is going to surpass Summer in popularity as well.

I love Lila we got her for my oldest she looks SO much like my daughter. I actually kind of think my second is going to look more like Raquel because she's already showing so much of her dad who's Honduran.

I agree with your point in her story using borrowed elements from previous Girls of the Year. I wonder if American Girl dictates what these authors should write about for the character. I think these authors should create a story based on what they want.

Raquel’s aesthetics are different from Lila’s even though they both use pink. Raquel uses plaid to represent Samantha.
