oh my gosh! my little sister will be so happy to hear about this book. also hoping for more Melody items to release around that time. her collection ( if we could even call it one) is so scarce it's sad. hopefully this book is the start of many more Melody items to come! 😁
My one concern is that the journals will replace the regular books eventually. I saw them attempting to do with Nicki and Isabel. Hopefully, we get tried and true books along with these (though I am not hopeful because I know how expensive printing these books are).
The cover looks amazing! Some of the images in her diary were wonderful including the one with Melody and her family listening to Dr Martin Luther King speak. I think Melody and the all the historicals earlier than her will be getting diaries. While Julie and the later historicals and the Girl of the Year characters will be getting only journals. It would be wonderful if Melody were given new items and accessories. Maybe Melody will given the special treatment next year. I just noticed that when a historical character’s journal or diary gets released it is in their birth month. This diary will be released almost a week after Melody’s birthday.
