Courtney Moore is now out! Now that she's out, I decided to share some fun facts about Courtney before posting her collection on AGDN. Here's all the fun stuff that I found out about Courtney from exploring the American Girl site's book excerpts, videos and product descriptions!
From Courtney Doll and Book: "Courtney Moore is growing up in California’s San Fernando Valley. She’s a total ’80s girl whose favorite place is Smiley’s Arcade because she loves playing video games. Courtney likes being in control of what happens, which isn’t always the case in real life. She and her stepsister, Tina, don’t always get along, and now that Courtney’s mom Maureen is running for mayor, things are changing at home. It’s a whole new game for Courtney, and she’s figuring out the rules as she goes."
From Courtney's Ultimate Collection: "Courtney Moore is a total ’80s girl who loves watching music videos after school, renting movies on the weekends, and going to the mall every chance she gets."
From Courtney's Bedroom Set: "Tina is neat and Courtney is, well, not as neat."
From Courtney's Care Bears Pajamas: "Courtney loves stuffed animals, and Care Bears™ are her favorite."
According to Courtney's High-Top Sneakers, Courtney loves to dance to her favorite songs.
From Courtney's Cardigan: "Courtney loves to wear colorful clothes."
From Courtney's Sleepover Accessory Set: "Courtney and her best friend, Sarah, have weekly sleepovers at each other’s houses. They eat snacks, watch rented movies, make cootie catchers, listen to music, make mixtapes, and have dance parties."
From Courtney's Caboodles and Hair Accessories Kit: "Courtney and her stepsister, Tina, sometimes fight over hair supplies, so for Christmas, they each got a case to keep things separate—and keep the peace."
From Courtney's Accessories: "Courtney loves music, especially since she can watch her favorite singers’ music videos on TV. Since she and her stepsister, Tina, don’t always want to listen to the same thing, Courtney’s glad she has a cassette player with headphones."
From Courtney's School Supplies: The video game hero Courtney creates is named Crystal Starshooter.
From Courtney's Pleasant Company Doll: "Courtney doesn’t consider herself a “doll girl,” but when she learns about Molly, who also misses her dad, she feels a connection. She’s totally surprised when her dad gives her this Molly doll for Christmas in 1986—making her one of the first to have a doll from the brand-new Pleasant Company."

Why does almost every doll grow up in California?
Will there be Courtney’s pet guinea pig? If so, how soon is it expected?
Could there be more courtney games?
I wonder if Molly is a real person in Courtney's world...because if Molly is just a doll in Pleasant Company in Courtney's world...Then is Courtney not real in her own world or to future American Girls? Maybe I'm thinking too deeply about it. They are both fictional in our world, but I wonder who they are in each others' worlds?
very cool! :D
