They should have done Felicity and Kit. They were both popular characters.
These dolls could introduce little girls to American Girl. Perhaps when they get older, they will want to read the central series.

also I noticed after checking out they're also on Amazon I wished I ordered there for prime lol but already did.
I ordered Samantha for my almost 7 month old, little surprised the recommended age was 18 months but I ordered it anyway. I look forward to reading her the book!
